If gambling has become a problem in your life, there is now a meeting in Hattiesburg. You do not need an appointment, an introduction, or a reason. You can walk in and sit down.

Is the meeting open to family and friends?
The first few meetings of a new group are open to everyone. The group will decide later whether this becomes a meeting for gamblers only or remains open to all.
Do I have to be a member of the church?
No. University Baptist Church is providing the room. Gamblers Anonymous is not affiliated with any church, religion, or outside organization, and the meeting is open to anyone with a desire to stop gambling.
What if I have never been to a meeting before?
Come a few minutes early and tell whoever is there that it is your first meeting. That is all you need to do.
What if I cannot make it on a Thursday?
The meeting is held every Thursday, so there is one next week. If Thursdays do not work at all, there are online GA meetings every day, and the nearest in-person meetings are listed on our meetings page.
